GLOVESCO GLOVESCO stands for Global Varnasrama Educational Social and Cultural Organization. Inaugurated in 2002 through www.glovesco.org and officially registered in India in 2004, GLOVESCO aims at promoting and establishing Varnasrama Dharma through its grass root level of traditional villages. In its simplest definition, Varnasrama Dharma refers to the standard scientific social and spiritual orders of society as enunciated in the ancient Vedic literatures. The concept of Varnasrama Dharma is based on the principles of self-independence, self-sufficiency, self-sustainability and local-governance, leading individuals to the ultimate goal of life, self-realization or Krishna consciousness. These principles can best be adopted by individuals or groups of individuals who have developed both vision and understanding. GLOVESCO thus seeks to promote and facilitate such a life-style through education and research, the basis of which lies in setting-up traditional villages from scratch or by reviving existing ones.
